Let’s dive into time machine and think If we had learnt Go instead of PY
Go (Golang) is a statically typed, compiled programming language created by Google engineers Robert Griesemer, Rob Pike, and Ken Thompson in 2007. It was designed to be efficient, simple, and productive for system programming and web development. Go’s history is rooted in addressing the challenges faced by Google’s massive software infrastructure.
Python, on the other hand, is a dynamically typed, high-level programming language created by Guido van Rossum in the late 1980s. It prioritizes readability and ease of use. Python’s history dates back to the late 1980s when it was developed as a successor to the ABC language, and it has since become a versatile language widely used for web development, data analysis, and more.
I sat in front of my pc and suddenly I was filled with learning a new language not English or French but Programming Lang
I found Js no use , I came to Py but Go was also there sitting and giggling
Name of both language attracted me, but go word was shortest
I ran a hello world text for both
Unfortunate Reality !
I was not knowing why so much garbage for one line to print in golang obviously I was looking as newbies !!
When I see this I was now happy but Demon in me raised and asked:
“Go is fast and more popular by GOOGLE”
“Python is used by many so no uniqueness”
I replied : “Hey ! Will you be Quiet for a minute PLZ”
When I came to libraries for both :
I was using Requests for Py and Http for Golang
I was writing first line Import in Py
but as I completed my go import ( and go actually lacks IDLE)
I went to cmd and run it !!!
Boom error and error and error !!! I was surprised how can one line give me error ( Import Cycle Error), I went online wasted 20 min to find library was Damn written Bad.
Python Have PYPI and it was cool. But Demon again Raised:
“Do you think GUI is easy in python ?”
“IDK”
“Check then !”
But When I am over with Python I am learning Golang as it is robust and fast and I recommend every one to read this article and go if you have learnt python but it’s UR choice.
Result : I would be never a programmer without Python.
